ABOUT SOCIETY
Al-Amin Muslim Welfare Education Society Darwha, Yavatmal(Established in 2013)
Al-Amin Muslim Welfare Education Society Darwha was established in 2013 to work for the betterment of the minorities (SC, ST, OBC, VJNT and other backward classes), giving top priority to education in its objective. This organization plays a vital role in social work by addressing societal issues, advocating for human rights, and supporting marginalized communities.
As there was no college specially for women in Darwha, Dist. Yavatmal, so Dr. Aamir Arif Quazi and his friends together formed Al-Amin Muslim Welfare Education Society, and this Society introduced Yasmin Sultana Quazi Syed Arifullah Mahilla Mahavidyalay Darwha — the first Women’s College in Darwha, Dist. Yavatmal.
This college offers undergraduate courses like B.A., B.Com. & B.Sc.
This society also runs a one-year diploma course in Urdu language since 2017 under National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language. Those children who do not know Urdu language have a good opportunity to learn Urdu. There is no caste discrimination in this.
AMMWES plays a crucial role in bridging the educational gap and ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, have access to quality education.
